You have three different engine options for the 2025 Ford Bronco, all of which come standard with four-wheel drive for every one of the trims. The base engine is a 2.3L EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder, producing 300 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque. You can pair it with either a seven-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic transmission. The four-cylinder is capable of towing up to 3,500 lbs. The second option is a 2.7L EcoBoost turbocharged V6, which makes 330 hp and 415 lb-ft of torque. It is also paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and can tow up to 3,500 lbs. The third option is a 3.0L Ecoboost V6, specific for the Raptor trim, which makes 418 hp and 440 lb-ft of torque. It’s also paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and can tow up to 4,500 lbs.

Bronco Base: Entry-Level Pricing and Features

The Base trim represents the entry-level option for the 2025 Bronco. It is a well-featured and robust midsize SUV option that is available in two-door and four-door formats. It comes standard with the 2.3L EcoBoost, with the option to have it configured with the seven-speed manual transmission or the 10-speed automatic transmission, and you can either configure it with the standard 4×4 part-time selectable engagement or advanced 4×4 with automatic on-demand engagement. You have the High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension (HOSS) 1.0 and multiple available packages, such as the Sasquatch Package.

The Base features an open rear differential, but adding the Sasquatch Package gives you locking front and rear differentials for supreme traction. The Bronco Base features an open-air design, including a removable roof and doors; you can also customize the roof in different soft or hard top designs, as well as select from nine different exterior colors for the Base trim. It comes with all the standard base equipment, such as cruise control, LED headlamps, and a seven-speaker sound system. You have access to the all-new Free Wheeling Package, which is a throwback to the 1970s and 1980s Bronco, featuring a red, orange, and yellow livery with matching interior styling. The Big Bend also has access to the Black Appearance Package, featuring black exterior accents, graphics, and wheels. Finally, there is the Black Diamond Package, featuring advanced off-roading equipment, auxiliary switches, powder-coated steel bumpers, and full undercarriage steel bash plates.

Outer Banks: Light Off-Roading With Premium Features

Best for daily driving and some light-off-roading, the Outer Banks is perfect if you’re looking for a balance between affordability and premium features, as it offers a more refined interior and available leather-trimmed seats. Featuring 18-inch aluminum wheels with five unique design options, the Outer Banks has a lot of the same features as the Big Bend but with many additional perks. Coming standard in a four-door design with the 2.3L EcoBoost, the Outer Banks can be equipped with the 2.7L V6 if you want some extra performance.

While the Outer Banks comes with everything you need for basic travel, you can have the trim buffed with the Lux Package, featuring adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera for the infotainment system, as well as Evasive Steering Assist, front parking sensors, and a B&O 12-speaker sound system from Bang and Olufsen. The Outer Banks also has access to the Sasquatch Package and Black Appearance Package, but unlike the Big Bend, it does not have access to the Free Wheeling Edition. You have access to the full SYNC 4 suite with enhanced voice recognition, so you can make hands-free phone calls and texts, as well as Bluetooth media streaming, just like all the trim grades.
