What Are Seven Distinct Features of the Ford F-150?

There was a time when a truck simply needed a powerful engine and seats (they didn’t have to be exceptionally comfortable) to be considered a successful option. These days, however, we’re a bit more discerning and look to get more from the pickups we choose; Ford’s focus on incredible power without sacrificing comfort and technology is a big part of that.
When you check out a Ford F-150 for sale near Noblesville, you’ll find an incredible range of features and options since so many different trim levels and packages are available. To help you understand what’s offered, we will take you through seven of our favorite features of the 2025 Ford F-150, and you’ll see why this continues to be America’s favorite truck.
#1 – Best-in-Class Towing and Payload
Although many of the features of the 2025 Ford F-150 that we’re looking at today are cool and useful things that you won’t find elsewhere, this is something we had to start with. We’d love to brag about the fact that the F-150 has more engines available than any other full-size light-duty truck these days (even if you ignore the Supercharged engine of the Raptor R), and how it has one of the best hybrid engines available in the industry.
But instead, we have to mention that the F-150 dominates every other light-duty full-size pickup when it comes to towing and payload. You can get 13,500 lbs of maximum towing with the F-150 and up to 2,440 lbs of max payload, giving you incredible muscle to get stuff done. Other models like the Ram 1500 come up short with just 11,550 lbs of max towing, while the Toyota Tundra has less than 2,000 lbs of payload.
#2 – The Pro Access Tailgate
Now that we’ve got that out of our system, let’s look at some other features of the F-150 that you might not know about (but really should). The available Pro Access Tailgate is one of our favorite things to show off when helping a customer check out this truck for the first time, and it always gets a great reaction.
This tailgate can open downward like any other tailgate on trucks out there, but it also features an integrated swing gate that opens outward to the side a full 100 degrees, like a door. This gives you easier access to the truck bed by letting you get up to 19 inches closer to it, even with a trailer hooked up that might prevent access with a traditional dropdown tailgate.

#3 – The Pro Power Onboard System
Another one of our favorite features of the 2025 Ford F-150 is the available Pro Power Onboard system, something so impressive that many other brands have been scurrying to catch up and offer similar features (though the Pro Power Onboard system is still our favorite).
This provides electric power to external equipment and tools anywhere in Noblesville (and beyond), making it perfect for work, play, and everything in between. You get up to two outlets in the cab itself, along with four in the bed, plus a 240V plug on the available 7.2kW system that showcases the best that this truck has to offer. And just to simplify things, you can even use the FordPass app on your phone to monitor power usage through the Pro Power Onboard system, so you don’t have to worry about going too far with it.
#4 – The Largest Standard Display in Its Class
At this point, interior displays are far from unique features in vehicles, even large and powerful trucks, so it’s a given that you’ll find a screen inside the F-150. What you might not expect, however, is that the 2025 F-150 has the largest standard infotainment display in its class, even when compared to models like the GMC Sierra 1500 that are known for emphasizing luxury details.
Every F-150 these days comes with an impressive 12-inch SYNC 4 infotainment system and a second 12-inch Digital Productivity Screen for you when driving. While some models out there have larger screens available, nothing can beat it for standard features. For example, the Ram 1500 starts with an 8.4-inch display, while the GMC Sierra 1500 has a standard seven-inch screen.
#5 – The Perfect Interior for a Mobile Office
When you want a truck that is perfect for getting you where you need to go and making it easy to do your job, the F-150 is the right choice. In particular, the interior has several features available that are ideal when you need to be able to take your office out with you.
The available interior work surface features a stowable shifter that tucks away so you can open and unfold the center console, creating a large work surface for a laptop, paperwork, or anything else you need. The flip and fold rear seats are ideal if you often need extra cargo space inside your truck cab. At the same time, the available lockable under-seat storage gives you added security for valuable items you want to keep out of sight and safely stashed away.
#6 – An Incredible Selection of Off-Road Models
What if you’re looking for a truck with an eye toward play rather than work? The 2025 Ford F-150 is perfect for that, too, especially if your idea of play is leaving the streets of Noblesville behind and hitting the trail.
You have a stunning number of options available for an off-road version of the F-150, including the Tremor trim with its rugged off-road suspension and the Raptor that gives you bold power and incredible trail-ready capabilities. If you want to keep things a bit simpler, then you can go with the STX trim and choose the FX Off-Road package to add skid plates, off-road tires, and more. No matter what you’re looking to do with your truck, we can show you an F-150 that’s up to the task.

#7 – Dynamic Bending LED Headlamps
We have one more fun feature that sets the F-150 apart and makes it something special out there. Every model comes with LED headlamps to provide excellent visibility when driving around at night.
To take things to the next level, however, available Dynamic Bending Headlamps can swivel up to 15 degrees as you turn the steering wheel to provide fantastic illumination when making turns as you drive around Noblesville at night. This is particularly nice when you’re getting home at the end of a long day, and that extra bit of night visibility gives you a moment longer to react to something on the road.
